Cooks Valley Cemetery Meeting

Town of Cooks Valley

Chairman Darrel Fehr called the annual cemetery meeting to order on June 8, 2020 at 7:51 pm.  Cemetery committee present:  Darrel Fehr and Matt Borofka.  Delegation present: Vicki Freeberg, Judy Prince, Calvin Swartz, Loren Prince.    

Matt Borofka made a motion to accept and place on file the minutes of the July 8, 2019 Cooks Valley Cemetery meeting.  Darrel Fehr seconded the motion.  The motion passed 2-0.  

Discussion and action on maintenance and funding for the upkeep of the Cooks Valley Cemetery:  Harry Prince has passed on  so Loren Prince has offered to continue in his fathers position to care for cemetery.  Darrel Fehr expressed the Boards appreciation for all Harry did and regret we will miss him. Loren requested a half load (10 yards) black dirt. Darrel Fehr will check to see if Dave Michels can deliver that to cemetery. There is one dead pine tree that needs to be cut down.   Darrel Fehr will contact Tom Yakesh to straighten a couple large grave markers.

Interest on cemetery CD for last year $23.82.

Darrel Fehr made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:01 pm.  Matt Borofka seconded the motion.  The motion carried 2-0.
